She Knew Exactly What I Needed to Heal

“Jessica lead us through a sound bath, first with a drum over each of our bodies. When she got to me, towards the end of the circle, I didn't know why I started crying. Her healing abilities are insane, y'all. I could feel the beat of that drum inside my head, under my feet, deep in my heart. I remember putting my hand on my chest, pressing down deeply, because I felt a huge release. Jessica comforted me as I bawled. The tension and trauma that has been clouding my heart chakra for years was at least partially let go. She touched my knees and ankles in order to ground me back to Earth, and told me to breathe as deep as I could. That I was safe. That I was loved. She has never heard the depth of my trauma, and yet, she knew exactly what I needed in order to heal. Next, we were treated to another sound bath with a singing bowl. I stopped crying and sat upright against the wall, rubbing my hand on the wood in her historic home. I remember Spirit kept telling me, "open your eves! Open your eyes! Find Jessica!" So I kept looking around the room for her, and then would close them again. Repeat. Through the sound bowl, the energy shifted from release to empowerment. I felt an intense feeling in my gut, one that felt proud and becoming. I felt more connected to my womanhood, and the women around me, in that moment than ever. When the meditation was over, we shared our experience and said our goodbyes. I am so grateful to Jessica for giving us a safe and magickal space to do this, and I will definitely be back.”
