Spring Equinox
The Spring Equinox is here. A time when we have a balance of light and dark and the sun is returning. We are now in the rebirth cycle of our earth. This is a perfect time to literally + spiritually plant seeds for the future.
What seeds do you want to plant for yourself? This is the perfect time of year to plant the seeds that you would like to see sprouting this spring and continue through the year. You’ve likely already been preparing your intentions for spring. You may even start to see some of your opportunities starting to arise. Get excited and continue to get clear on your goals + intentions moving forward!
A few days before the Spring equinox, spend time clearing out space in your home and work. Clean and declutter. Reset your alters. Write out any patterns, behaviors, beliefs, situations, and anything you are ready to let go of. Burn this paper the night before the equinox.
On the day of the Spring Equinox, set your altar for Ostara and write down your goals for the year. The Goddess, Ostara, or Eostre, celebrates the spring equinox. Eostre represents spring and new beginnings. Bring offerings to your altar for Ostara on the Spring Equinox. She likes colorful flowers, eggshells, honey, + clover. Call upon Ostara as you read your goals allowed and light a green candle for her. Leave your intentions under your candle holder.
Spend this day in the sun, enjoying nature, planting flowers, and spending time with friends + family!
